South Tyneside Skills Survey

As part of the Economic Recovery Plan to help South Tyneside bounce back from the economic shock caused by coronavirus, South Tyneside Council is seeking the view of local businesses on current and future skills and training needs.

The Economic Recovery Plan for the Borough sets out a series of interventions to help create future growth and prosperity, delivering 10,000 jobs over the next five years.

Ensuring that South Tyneside businesses have access to a wide pool of skilled workers as our economy adapts to the challenges of the pandemic will be a key part of our local economic recovery in the Borough. Results from the survey will be used to inform ongoing work by the Council and partners to develop a skills and employment system that meets current and future business need.
