For those new to audio and video and want to be more interactive and raise brand awareness through podcast creation, Invest South Tyneside have a free audio workshop available online via Zoom.

During the morning of the 5 November, you will hear from one of the North East's most exciting content creators.

Founder of Far North Ltd, Ian Farrar, represented the UK at International podcast day 2018 and hosts the popular Industry Angel Business Podcast.  Ian has a global reach in over 100 countries with hundreds of thousands of downloads.  The podcast has been running for 5 years, is approaching 200 episodes with a loyal following and has enjoyed sitting at number one in the Apple Podcast charts.

Ian will navigate through the world of podcasting.  Ian will discuss creation, platforms and fast track you through the many technicalities of creating a successful show.

You will enjoy hands on demonstrations of some of the latest equipment we have available for you and hopefully leave you inspired to pop on the headphones and share your journey with the world!

Ian will cover:

  • Why and what to podcast
  • How to record - hardware & software
  • Editing
  • Distribution platforms
  • Promotion
  • LIVE streaming

This event must be booked in advance. It is limited to business owners and managers based in South Tyneside. Only one person per business please. It is recommended that this training is undertaken before using the Content Suite.
